The Harbour City has long thrived on the shoulders of young entrepreneurs, with a vibrant startup ecosystem that has cultured budding seeds into global heavyweights from Atlassian to Airtasker (ASX: ART) and hundreds more.
Tonight, a stellar group of the city’s most exciting young leaders will gather at Doltone House for the 2023 Sydney Young Entrepreneur Awards - an event that has become a cornerstone for the highest calibre of emerging talent.
The initiative's founder Camilla Jansen says the Young Entrepreneur Awards have a rich history, shaping a community of trailblazers who are making meaningful impacts.
“From tech startups to sustainable enterprises, this year’s finalists at the Sydney Awards epitomise the diversity and dynamism that define Sydney's entrepreneurial scene,” she says.
“Every year, the awards highlight the work of young business leaders who are creating a substantial impact on their communities and sectors.”
Despite an Australian economy under the yoke of various global and domestic pressures, this year’s finalists collectively employ thousands of staff and generated nearly half a billion dollars in revenue for FY23. The awards serve as recognition for their substantial impact on both their communities and the city's economic growth.
