Cash seized, Gold Coast

Police are investigating following the seizure of approximately $3 million in cash from a vehicle at Elanora yesterday.
A Nissan Navara four-wheel drive was intercepted by police during a routine traffic stop on the Pacific Motorway at about 4.20pm.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered approximately $3 million in cash notes stacked inside three bags.
The female driver and her male passenger are assisting police with enquiries.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the origin of the funds.
